Alexander Gofstein

Alexander Gofstein is one of the most respected Russian lawyers with specialization in criminal cases and over 30 years of experience in complex and high-profile litigation.
At the very start of his career, Alexander participated in the defense of the former Chairman of the USSR Supreme Soviet Anatoly Lukyanov in the GKChP case. Later, he represented the interests of Pavel Zaytsev, a defendant in the Three Whales (Tri Kita) corruption case, and secured an acquittal verdict for Vyacheslav Ivankov.
He was awarded the medal “For Merits in the Protection of Citizens’ Rights and Freedoms”. Winner of the National Award “Business Reputation” from the Federal Chamber of Lawyers.
